United Sikh Youth
Khalsa Diwan Society (Vancouver) is the Gurdwara Society with the richest history in all of North America. The United Sikh Youth slate pledges to restore the Khalsa Diwan Society to its rightful place as a leading institution for Sikhs around the world.
This was once an institution where all Sikhs came together, united, to tackle the issue of the day. That is the vision we have for the future. United Sikh Youth rejects the labels that have been imposed on the Sikh community by the media. There are only Sikhs, not moderate or fundamentalist Sikhs.
The United Sikh Youth slate has five areas that it is focusing on: Unity, Sikhi, Family, Education and Seva. Our core message is about bringing the community together to focus on the essence of the Sikh religion.
